WhatsApp Cloud API Setup #

This guide explains how to get your WhatsApp Cloud API credentials from Meta.

Step 1 — Create a Meta App #

Go to developers.facebook.com and create a new Business app.

Step 2 — Add WhatsApp Product #

In your app dashboard, click Add Product and select WhatsApp.

Step 3 — Get Your Credentials #

• Phone Number ID — Found in WhatsApp → API Setup
• WhatsApp Business Account ID — Found in WhatsApp → API Setup
• Temporary Access Token — Shown in the API Setup panel (valid 24 hours)
• Permanent Token — Created via System Users in Business Manager

Step 4 — Enter Credentials in Plugin #

Copy these values into WAPI Connect → Settings → API Configuration.
