Before you choose
What every store needs, whatever it sells.
- A WooCommerce store on WordPress 6.0 or newer, PHP 8.1 or newer, with HTTPS
- A phone number that can receive an SMS or a call and is not in the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app
- A Meta business portfolio, and a payment method on your WhatsApp account for Meta’s charges
- Customers who agreed to hear from you before you send them offers
Meta’s Commerce Policy does not allow some businesses on WhatsApp, for example alcohol and tobacco, drugs, medical and healthcare products, weapons, adult products and gambling. Read Meta’s Commerce Policy before you buy. Meta can restrict accounts that break it.
